about

This song was written by Stikki Rikki and H. Cheese about their friend Sue Downey's dad, who was a huge man and a mover, like he moved people's furniture and belongings from one house to another in a giant truck. Nice guy. Old school. The first half of the song is recollections from Stikki Rikki, the second half from H. Cheese.
Ironically, though he didn't write the lyrics (ok, he wrote the music), Ken B. sang the song.

lyrics

He was like seven feet tall
He was a mover
He would move shit
Like he was movin'
He was a movin' guy

He forced me to eat ambrosia
Not the band, but the food, you understand
He forced me to eat ambrosia
Not the band, but the food, you understand

When I moved to St. Louis he told me they had barbers out there
When I moved to St. Louis I found some barbers out there
Cuz I had long hair, you understand

But he didn't move me out there
And that was the only reason I went there
Cuz I thought he'd help
Cuz I thought he'd help
Cuz I thought he'd help
Cuz I thought he'd help
