This album was recorded in Boston, as were many of the band's albums of the 1990s. The band borrowed some guitars and one of them was a Flying V copy with the frets pulled out. The album was recorded on a cassette 4-track and quickly mixed the following morning meaning to be just a rough mix but then the original 4-track tape was lost and the rough mix was all that was left, so it became the official recording. But that's cool, cuz it sounds awesome.
